On their social media, Impactnation Japan Festival 2023 has announced various line-ups for their event. Six music performers from Japan are confirmed for the event. They are Japanese rock band KANA-BOON, FLOW, BURNOUT SYNDROME, Japanese singer yama, idol group Cho Tokimeki ♡ Sendenbu (Tokisen), and DJ SENNA.
The event will be held from 29 to 30 July 2023 at Gelora Bung Karno Sports Palace (Istora GBK), Senaya, Jakarta. KANA-BOON, yama, and Cho Tokimeki ♡ Sendenbu will be presented on the first day. FLOW, BURNOUT SYNDROME, and DJ SENNA will be presented on the second day.
In addition to the six aforementioned performers, two additional secret guest stars are also announced for the event. Those secret guest stars have not been announced yet.
Formed in 2008, KANA-BOON’s line-up consists of Maguro Taniguchi (vocalist, rhythm guitar), Hayato Koga (lead guitar, backing vocals), Masami Endou (bass), and Takahiro Koizumi (drummer). The band is famous for providing the soundtrack for various anime such as Naruto Shippuden, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Fire Force, My Hero Academia, and Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider.
Formed in 2005, BURNOUT SYNDROMES’s line-up consists of Kazuumi Kumagai (guitarist, vocalist), Taiyu Ishikawa (bassist), and Takuya Hirose (drummer). The band has also provided the soundtrack for various anime, including Haikyu!! Gintama, Dr. Stone, and Mashiro no Oto.
Formed in 1993, FLOW’s line-up consists of guitarist and vocalist Kohshi (vocalist, rhythm guitar), Keigo (vocalist), Take (lead guitar), Got’s (bassist), and Iwasaki (drummer). The band has also provided the soundtrack for various anime, including Naruto, Code Geass, and Eureka Seven.
On the other hand, yama is a newcomer in the Japanese music industry. She started her career as a musician who covers other artists’ songs on her YouTube channel, before creating her first original music in 2020. Since 2022, she’s already providing the soundtrack for various anime, including SPYxFAMILY, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, and Urusei Yatsura remake.
Cho Tokimeki ♡ Sendenbu is a Japanese girl idol group owned by a talent agency Stardust Promotion. The group currently has 6 members, including Kanami Tsujino, Julia Ann, Hitoka Sakai, Haruka Koizumi, Aki Suda, and Hiyori Yoshikawa.
DJ Senna is a Japanese DJ and model who also has experience as a ballerina. She sometimes incorporates her ballet experience in her performance, like performing 180 degrees leg raise during her DJ performance. This is her second appearance in Indonesia after Ultra Beach Bali 2022 in Kuta, Bali.
