AKA Virtual collaboration with Sakana Mega Kuningan Restaurant and V2 Indonesia, creating an event when Japanese Restaurant meets with one of the well-known Vtuber agency and technology company named “SOL.4CE Pop Up Restaurant” which is located in Sakana Mega Kuningan on the 2nd floor of BTPN building and held between 27-28 July 2024.

The event involving Vtubers of SOL.4CE from AKA Virtual consisted of Gingitsune Gehenna, Souta, Mikazuki Arion, and Harris Caine.

At the front of the restaurant, we were greeted by medium-sized standees from SOL.4CE, along with the restaurant staff and a few fans of that Vtuber group who visited the restaurant. When we entered the restaurant, there was a merchandise shop selling perfumes, photocards, standees, and even Dakimakura. When we looked further into the restaurant, there were more posters and standees from SOL.4CE, along with a big TV screen showcasing both original songs and covers from AKA Virtual Vtubers. After taking pictures, we proceeded to one of the dining tables with a dining table mat with SOL.4CE theme. While we sat down and looked for a menu, we were greeted by Ocky Christianto, a business developer from AKA Virtual, along with his crew.

For the menu, there are four different menus each suited to various styles of SOL.4CE members, from Gingitsune Gehenna’s Wok and Roll Fried Rice, Souta’s Ikan Senyum Manis, Mikazuki Arion’s Curry Papi, and finally Harris Caine’s Heartstring Pasta.

After the dinner, we were invited for a walk around the venue of the event, from the dining table to posters and standees, and finally a small room for the Meet and Greet session. In that place, we were introduced to a 3d full-body screen, along with a microphone, mini-cam and headphones. Because of the small size of the feature, only a few people could enter, including the visitors who purchased the ticket including the meet and greet session. Souta became our Vtuber for our meet and greet session.

While the visitors were expected to come from the Greater Jakarta area, there were also visitors from Lampung and Sukabumi who came to the event. There were two visitors that KAORI Nusantara team had managed to get interviewed with, they were Sasha from Lampung and Kenangan from Sukabumi.

According to Sasha from Lampung, she knew about the event at first from the post from Mikazuki Arion and then immediately signed up for the event. She likes both Arion and Shota, and being able to talk to them on the same day as her birthday, was the main reason she joined the event. She arrived at Jakarta, a day before the event. For the testimonial, she was impressed with the event thanks to its neatness and punctuality from start to finish. She also hoped that there will be more events just like the one she participated in.

Meanwhile, a visitor from Sukabumi named Kenangan, knew about the event from both AKA Virtual official social media and a member. The information told her that there would be an upcoming Meet and Greet event, along with a Vtuber that she likes. The reason behind her participation in the event would be to go to the meet-and-greet with her favourite vtuber, Shota. For the testimonial, that event was her first time joining and she was very happy, it was also her first ever meet-and-greet and turned out the event was fun and beyond her expectations. Had she not had a clash with her university schedule, she would participated again next time.

Another unique feature of the event would be the message wall, which consists of Post-it notes with messages from visitors attending the event and stick them directly to one of the restaurant’s walls.

While the event could utilise more of its restaurant facilities such as the big TV screen and other features that can be added to the event, it is a good start for its first time held; as the showcase of their 3D features for Meet and Greet, positive reception from the fans visiting the event, and a wide variety of their merchandises, are the key points for the event. With the event turned out to be a successful one, the future event featuring AKA Virtual would be a bright future ahead.
