To strengthen their brand in Indonesia, US-based streaming service Crunchyroll has added more than 100 anime titles with Indonesian subtitles to their website. Some of those titles include popular anime titles like Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba, Dr.Stone, JUJUTSU KAISEN, Kaiju No.8, KONOSUBA -God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Solo Leveling, SPYxFAMILY, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and many more.

Crunchyroll also engages with anime fans in Indonesia through a new campaign titled Ayo Crunchyroll! (Let’s Go Crunchyroll!). Starting from 15 August until the end of September 2024, Crunchyroll’s new campaign will go live with engaging video ads on social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Meta, and eye-catching Out-of-Home (OOH) displays featuring popular anime titles at locations like Jakarta’s iconic Bundaran HI and Blok M MRT stations.
As a streaming service, Crunchyroll offers an array of simulcasts for Indonesian anime fans every season. Some of the current ongoing simulcast series on their website include Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Bye Bye Earth, Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction, My Hero Academia, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses, Tower of God, True Beauty, and many more.
Crunchyroll’s dedication to the Indonesian anime community goes beyond just content and pricing. Crunchyroll will announce their participation in upcoming anime events in the region. Additionally, Crunchyroll will bring the theatrical release of the highly anticipated Demon Slayer trilogy.
To access Crunchyroll’s content, anime fans could subscribe to one of their two subscription packages, the Fan Subscription and Mega Fan Subscription. The Fan subscription is available for just IDR 29,000 per month, and the Mega Fan subscription is available for only IDR 39,000 per month, which also includes access to the Game Vault and the option to download desired episodes.
Crunchyroll recently also partnered with Telkomsel and introduced bundle packages for Indonesian users. The package starts from IDR 36,000 and includes access to a MAXstream quota of up to 3 GB with a Crunchyroll subscription.
