On Wednesday (11/9), Japanese VTuber agency AKA Virtual announced that they are currently opening an audition for their VTuber project. This will be the second VTuber audition held by AKA Virtual in 2024. Previously, they also held an audition in February.
This audition is open to anyone above 18 years old who is fluent in Indonesian and/or English Language. Fluency in another language will be considered a plus. The candidate is also expected to understand the basics of live-streaming platforms like YouTube or Twitch.
The audition is looking for a dedicated, hard-working professional who demonstrates maturity. They also need to have a clear goal for their content creation goal and are eager to grow and contribute to AKA Virtual. Experience in areas like singing, dancing, acting, voiceover, choreography, music, comedy, gaming, scriptwriting, drawing, animation, video editing, social media, or other talents that can enhance their streaming career is a big plus.
Other requirements for this audition are:
- Availability: Applicants are expected to be able to create content regularly and participate in AKA Virtual long-term projects.
- Commitment: Applicants must be committed to their content creation schedule.
- Affiliation: Applicants must not be tied to an exclusive contract with another entertainment agency, label, or production company. If the applicants are currently under contract, they must be willing to terminate that agreement.
- Compliance with Rules: You must abide by AKA Virtual’s rules and regulations regarding the audition process and content creation.
In AKA’s Virtual February 2024 audition, five new VTubers are selected as their latest member. They are ONShannon, Viyushi Winko, Karissa Sharlotte, Koh Acuk, and Violetta Calytrix.
Established in 2021, AKA Virtual is based in Tokyo, Japan, enabling creators & brands to interact with fans through 3D Virtual Characters. As of 18 September 2024, currently has 32 Vtubers talent, with 25 Vtubers who can speak Indonesian.
