On Wednesday (20/11), the VTuber Awards Indonesia Committee announced that the awarding ceremony of VTuber Awards Indonesia 2024 will be streamed on Saturday, 23 November 2024 at 1300 Western Indonesian Times (WIT) on the Muse Indonesia YouTube channel.
The committee also revealed one more of their category, the Legacy Awards, which is awarded to the Indonesian VTuber who has established themselves as a longstanding and active figure within the VTuber industry.
The VTuber Awards Indonesia 2024 is a fan-made VTuber award created by Indonesian VTuber enthusiasts. In this event, fans can vote for their favourite VTubers, VTuber groups/agencies, and virtual creators in Indonesia based on categories introduced by the organisers.
The first phase of voting took place from 27 September to 13 October 2024, featuring more than 140 VTuber nominees. The second phase of voting ran from 30 October to 17 November 2024, with over 10,000 people casting their votes on the VTuber Awards Indonesia website and more than 2,000 voting in person at the VTuber Awards Indonesia booth during Comic Frontier 19.
