The Indonesian dubbing school Voice Talent Class Indonesia (VTClass.ID) will invite Professor Frederic Chaume to hold a lecture in their school next October. Further information about the exact date or whether the event will be held as an online or offline event has not been announced yet.
Professor Frederic Chaume is a lecturer from Valencia, Spain. He teaches audiovisual translation theory, localization, and dubbing adaptation at Universitat Jaume I in Spain. He is also an Honorary Professor at University College London, Universidad Ricardo Palma Peru, and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas Peru.
During the lecture, Professor Chaume will collaborate with Novie Burhan. Novie Burhan is an Indonesian voice actress, dubbing dialogue director, and dubbing teacher at VTClass.ID. She has been involved in several anime, including My Happy Marriage, Ranma 1/2 Remake, Battle of Surabaya, Gokushufudo, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
In addition to anime, Novie Burhan has also worked as a voice actress and dubbing dialogue director for various Western films. She was involved in the Indonesian dubbing process of several Walt Disney shows for Netflix and the live-action adaptation of One Piece. Many of her students are currently working professionally as voice actors.
