On 20 February 2025, following the success of JKT48 Virtual (JKT48V) first generation, JKT48 announced that they are currently holding an audition for their second-generation virtual talents. The audition process began on 21 February at 1000 Western Indonesian Time and will continue until 21 March 2025 at 2159 Western Indonesian Time.
The audition for the JKT48V second generation is open to the public to female talents who are currently not affiliated with any entertainment agency. The candidates must currently reside in Indonesia at the time of the audition.
Candidates must have an interest in the world of VTuber and JKT48. The ability to speak other languages is a plus. Prior experience in streaming or content creation is also recommended, but optional. If selected, the candidates will first undergo a training program before debuting as virtual idols.
The audition registration process is conducted online through the JKT48V audition registration link. Applicants must complete the form according to the provided instructions. Those who pass the first selection stage will be contacted via email. Incomplete or incorrect submissions will not be processed.

JKT48V is a collaboration project from JKT48 and VTuber agency AKA Virtual that combines the idol group concept with virtual technology. Established on 30 July 2023, JKT48V has three Vtuber talents as of 20 March 2025.
