The Ribbon Hero anime film is now available with an Indonesian dub. Adapted from the Princess Knight (Japanese title: Ribbon no Kishi) manga by the legendary Osamu Tezuka, the Indonesian dub version is available on Netflix.
For the dubbing production, Kantana CS Pro Indonesia is credited as the dubbing studio for the Indonesian dub, with Guritno credited as the dialogue director.

Princess Knight follows Sapphire, a princess of the Silverland kingdom whom her parents disguised as a prince so she could inherit the throne and protect the nation from an evil prince coveting the crown.
The manga was first published in 1953, and until 1968, it was published in up to four serialisations and ten volumes. An anime adaptation of Princess Knight was previously broadcast on Spacetoon in Indonesia. Two anime films were also made based on the series. The first was published in 1999 under the same title, while the second adaptation, The Ribbon Hero, was released in 2026.
The second adaptation, The Ribbon Hero, has a slightly different story compared to the manga. In this adaptation, the main character Sapphire must rebuild the kingdom of Goldland after losing her homeland to a natural phenomenon known as “Nergal.” She is determined to defend her new home from the same threat that destroyed her own nation.
The Ribbon Hero was previewed at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival on 24 June 2026. On 8 August 2026, Netflix released the anime film on their streaming service. On their official social media, The Ribbon Hero production staff also announced a limited theatrical release in Japanese cinemas from 4 to 7 September 2026.
