Synopsis

High schooler Nagatoro loves to spend her free time doing one thing, and that is to bully her senior! After Nagatoro and her friends stumble upon the aspiring artist’s drawings, they find enjoyment in mercilessly bullying the timid senior. Nagatoro resolves to continue her cruel game and visits him daily so that she can force him into doing whatever interests her at the time, especially if it makes him uncomfortable.

Slightly aroused by and somewhat fearful of Nagatoro, the senior is constantly roped into her antics as his interests, hobbies, appearance, and even personality are used against him as she entertains herself at his expense. As time goes on, he realizes that he doesn’t dislike Nagatoro’s presence, and the two of them develop an uneasy friendship as one patiently puts up with the antics of the other. (Myanimelist.net)

Senpai! If you like Teasing Master Takagi, then watching this anime is a must!

It all started when the seemingly bottom-tier character and easily flustered senior visits the school library while Nagatoro and the gang are talking so loud that he can hear them from outside, and no one has enough guts to interrupt them. Since it’s his favorite spot, he forces himself to sit across the room to do his assignments, but he is so distracted that he accidentally drops his bag and scatters his manga pages in front of Nagatoro. Ufufu, it’s only the beginning.

In time, the two of them seem to develop a bittersweet relationship with each other. Although the senior is being cornered until he cries and he has been dealing with bullying since elementary school, he tries to cope with Nagatoro’s teasing without being desensitized to her like he has done to the bullies before. He builds more confidence in himself by speaking his feelings at the end of the episode. Nagatoro on the other hand shows her interest in her twisted way. She points out his weakness by showing the difference between the persona he has and his character in his manga. In this case, even though it is just Nagatoro’s impression that his manga character is a projection of what he wants to see (and have) on himself, but perhaps it’s true that projecting your ideal self into your manga character without actually go for it in real life is… well Nagatoro said it pretty harsh too. That being said, Nagatoro still apologizes and if you watched the trailer (because the first episode doesn’t really show) their relationship is not only as bully and victims, hm then what is it? I’ll leave it to your imagination, senpai!
