The film takes place in Shibuya on Halloween, where assistant inspector Wataru Takagi is injured while protecting fellow police officer Miwako Sato. Takagi survived, but in Sato’s eyes, the image of the grim reaper that killed her previous partner, Jinpei Matsuda, is coming back again. At the same time, the perpetrator of the bombing case who killed Matsuda escapes from prison. Is this really a coincidence?
Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween (Meitantei Conan: Halloween no Hanayome) is the 25th animated film in the Detective Conan franchise. The film will be premiered in Japan on April 15, 2022. Susumu Mitsunaka is directing the film at TMS Entertainment while Takahiro Ōkura is writing the script.
