Synopsis

Bojji is the firstborn prince of Bo Kingdom, and as the firstborn prince, he is expected to be the next king. But people are cynical about the idea because Bojji is neither able to talk nor hear, and even his physique is seen as inferior to his little brother, Daida. During a walk one day, he encountered Kage (in Japanese, the name means Shadow), the sole survivor of an assassin clan that has been wiped out before, and somehow understood what Bojji is saying.

Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage is a new original story following Bojji, Kage, and their friends to unveil “the stories of courage”.

Bojji and Kage are back with more adventures! Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage started with their daily life at Despa’s place. While Bojji is in training with Despa, Kage is doing his best to support both of them. In the previous season, we can see different sides of Bojji in the first episode. But this season’s first episode is leaning toward showing different sides of Kage.

Following the change of point of view, the first half of the episode shows how Kage’s activity without Bojji. He always tries to help others. But because of his kindness, he’s being guilt-tripped by a granny. Even though his action bears fruit in the end, an instant solution might not always be the way to solve a problem. As the story progressed, Kage is able to provide a more realistic and sustainable solution for the people around him. Considering this part of the story is an original story of Ranking of Kings, I don’t know what to expect from the story in the upcoming episodes. However, I will be looking forward to it.

Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage is available at iQIYI and Bstation.
