Last September, Bank Mandiri successfully held the Livin’ Gamers Festival (LGF) 2024 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. By organizing the event, Bank Mandiri hopes they can support the development of the creative industry and electronic sports or e-sports in Indonesia, as part of its efforts to encourage innovation and inclusion in various sectors.
The festival lasted three days from 20 to 22 September 2024. It was themed around the “Carnival of Kings” tagline and offered gamers a special experience beyond banking. As Bank Mandiri’s new initiative to engage the gaming ecosystem, LGF 2024 is their step to strengthen their position as a major player in this industry.
LGF 2024 also held the Final Stage of the Honor of Kings Championship 2024 Indonesia Qualifier organized by Level Infinite. The winner of this tournament will represent Indonesia in this year’s Honor of Kings Championship competition.
“LGF 2024 is Bank Mandiri’s step to build closer connections with the younger generation. We believe that by presenting this unique experience, we can provide banking solutions that are relevant to the needs and lifestyles of the community,” said Bank Mandiri’s Director of Networks and Retail Banking, Aquarius Rudianto.
LGF 2024 has also generated excitement among gamers, especially the younger generation. With over 14,000 exclusive tickets sold on Bank Mandiri’s Livin’ SUKHA app, Bank Mandiri hopes that they can promote the Livin’ SUKHA app to the public. In addition, the Livin’ SUKHA app recorded a more than 100% increase in transaction volume during the event.
Aquarius stated, “Seeing the extraordinary enthusiasm of participants and visitors, Bank Mandiri hopes that LGF can become an annual event and a moment of celebration in the gaming industry, while also contributing significantly to the growth of Indonesia’s digital economy”
