SMASH! President Andrew Qiu could not be more “proud” of SMASH! and its journey as a convention.
“Created for fans, by fans — SMASH! is truly an incredible event that unites people from across the country and beyond,” Qiu said.
“For fans and non-fans of geek and anime, this is a fantastic event that encourages convention-goers to experience Japanese pop-culture in a lively environment. When you look at the Australian pop-culture scene, SMASH! is on an entirely different level that no other convention can compare with.”
