Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World is a light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. The novel was first published on the web novel website Shosetsuka ni Narou in 2012. Later, Kadokawa released the printed version of the novel through the MF Bunko J label in January 2014.
The story of Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World centred on a high school student named Subaru Natsuki. One day, he is transported to another world and is saved by a beautiful silver-haired girl named Emilia. Later, Subaru and Emilia are killed by enemies who suddenly attack them. After his death, Subaru realized that he had the power to rewind time and use the power to save Emilia.
