On 23 July 2026, Indonesian VTuber group GRAVT announced on their social media that one of their talents, Akemi Nekomachi, has been officially removed from the group, effective from 19 July 2026. The decision was made following several days of internal discussion and external coordination, due to several actions Akemi had taken that went against “GRAVT’s values.”
Furthermore, management stated that they could not reveal further details due to the involvement of a third party who requested that the case be discussed privately.
They emphasised that management never supported or condoned Akemi’s actions, especially in his past. Going forward, the group will continue activities as a trio consisting of Ave Kanehoshii, daem, and Reynard Blanc.
Shortly after the official announcement, one of GRAVT’s talents, daem, provided his perspective and explanation regarding Akemi’s departure from the group through his X (formerly, Twitter) account. He also advised his fans to read it carefully and thoroughly, in addition, to stay by the victim’s side and respect the decision.
GRAVT is a male VTuber group from Indonesia that has been established since 31 May 2025. At the time of this writing, they currently have three active VTuber members: Daem, Ave Kanehoshii, and Reynard Blanc. Reynard Blanc is also affiliated with Re:Memories.
