On 1 August 2026, Indonesian VTuber agency MAHA5 announced that they have ceased their operations in Indonesia.
After the closure, all six remaining talents under MAHA5 ID: Rena Anggraeni, Daisy Ignacia Y, Hera Garalea, Fuyumi Celestia, Maudy Sukaiga, and Saku Kurata will continue their career as independent Virtual YouTubers, while retaining their ownership and use of their current VTuber characters. The exception belonged to Kevin Vangardo, as he had already terminated his partnership agreement with the agency prior to its operational closure.
In addition, the official channels of MAHA5 ID, all channels owned by already-graduated talents, and Lumi Celestia’s video on Fuyumi Celestia’s channel will be preserved. This decision was made because MAHA5 want to respect the work, dedication, and journey for each talent during their time with the agency.
The MAHA5 ID Official Store will also gradually cease its operations, with the Tokopedia store already closed since 31 July 2026, and Shopee will continue to operate until 21 August 2026.
The agency also mentioned that this decision won’t affect the activity of their Japanese branch, MAHA5JAPAN.
Below are letters from the talents, sharing their heartfelt thanks and farewell messages on their social media:
The agency expressed their sincerest gratitude to fans for the support they had received from their fans. They also hoped that all of their talents would continue to grow, create wonderful content, and receive continued support and encouragement in the future.
