The organiser of Comic Paradise (Comipara) has announced that Japanese media company Kadokawa will be presented in the Comipara 7 event. During the event, the company will hold their World Manga OnSite Portfolio Review program, where comic artists can bring their work and receive direct feedback from Japanese manga editors.

The event is scheduled to take place on 17-18 October 2026. Just like the previous years, this Comipara event will be held at the Jogja Expo Centre, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Kadokawa’s Manga OnSite Portfolio Review is a workshop series where manga editors travel worldwide to provide in-person feedback on manga works. This workshop is a part of Kadokawa’s World Manga Atelier, a project launched by the company on 30 April 2026 to support comic artists outside Japan in the creation of their own IP. The First OnSite Portfolio Review took place during the Anime Expo 2026 on 2-5 July 2026 in Los Angeles, USA.

Comipara is an Indonesian comic and creative industry event held twice a year in Yogyakarta, focusing on comics, webtoons and related creative products. The event features various programmes involving creators and circles from the local creative community.

The first Comic Paradise was held on 18–19 November 2023 at the LPP Auditorium, Yogyakarta. From its second edition onwards, the event has been held at the Jogja Expo Center.
