As previously reported, Indonesian comics publisher Elex Media Komputindo has licensed PetosDemi-chan wa Kataritai manga and planned to release it in 2021. The list of new comic book releases for the first week of November 2021 has now confirmed that the first volume of the manga is scheduled to be shipped on 3 November. The manga is published in Indonesia with the title Interview with Monster Girls, and according to the product page on Gramedia.com, the book retails for IDR 40000 (about US$ 2.8).

Interview with Monster Girls tells the story of Tetsuo Takahashi, a teacher who has an interest in demi-humans. He wants to research them, but he had never had a chance to meet one of them. Unexpectedly, he finally meets some of them in the school where he works. Unfortunately as a teacher, asking his own students to be his research subjects won’t be easy. The manga began its serialization in Kodansha’s Young Magazine the 3rd on September 2014, though eventually moved to Monthly Young Magazine. The series has nine collected volumes at the time of this writing.

The manga has also been adapted into an anime by A-1 Pictures, which aired in Winter 2017.

Elex Media Komputindo is a comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia Group. The publisher releases licensed foreign comics, including manga, and also Indonesian comics. Since 2005, Elex Media also published comics that intended for mature audience under the new imprint called Level Comics.
