Book publisher Elex Media Komputindo will ship Mashle and Kemari Kota manga to Indonesian bookstores on 19 October 2022. Mashle comes with a suggested retail price of IDR 45,000 (about US$ 2.91), while Kemari Kota comes with a suggested retail price of IDR 40,000 (about US$ 2.59).

Written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto, Mashle tells the story of Mash, a boy who can’t use magic even though he lives in a world where your status is determined by the magic ability. To compensate for this, he trains his muscle to a point that he can do anything simply by using his physical ability. Without any magic but with overwhelmingly great physical strength, he enters a magic school where he aims to become a top student in school. The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since January 2020, with its chapters collected in thirteen tankōbon volumes as of October 2022.

Written and illustrated by Takashi Murakami, Kemari Kota tells the story of Kota, a Shiba dog who sometimes obeys or disobeys any commands, depending on the one who gives that command. The manga was serialized in Futabansha’s Manga Action from April 2017 to September 2018, collected into two volumes in total.

Elex Media Komputindo is an Indonesian comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia Group. The publisher releases licensed foreign comics, including manga and Indonesian comics. Since 2005, Elex Media also published comics for adult audiences under their new comic imprint, Level Comics.
