The Japanese rock group MAN WITH A MISSION (MWAM), known for sporting their iconic wolf masks and a plethora of anime songs, will perform in Indonesia in 2023!
The announcement was made in an Instagram post by promotor Sound Rhythm as part of their line-up of concerts for the music festival Woke Up Fest 2023. In addition to MWAM, other groups such as the American pop-rock band OneRepublic will also perform.
Woke Up Fest 2023 is slated to be held on 25 February 2023 at Istora Senayan, GBK Sports Complex, Jakarta. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased online starting from 1 October 2022. Prices start from RP. 700.000 for GA class tickets (standing) and Rp. 875.000 for indoor tickets (seating).
MAN WITH A MISSION is a Japanese rock band consisting of five members: Tokyo Tanaka (vocals), Jean-Ken Johnny (guitars, vocals, rap), Kamikaze Boy (bass, backing vocals), DJ Santa Monica (DJ, sampling) and Spear Rib (drums). Formed in 2010, the band has performed a number of title songs for various anime series, such as Database (Log Horizon OP), Raise Your Flag (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans OP), Winding Road (Golden Kamuy OP), and Merry-Go-Round (My Hero Academia OP). The band is known for always wearing wolf masks even when they perform live on stage.
