Starting September 2019, MAN WITH A MISSION will tour North America for the first time in five years, including shows in Canada and Mexico. Title track “Dark Crow” has been designated the theme song of the second season of NHK’s TV anime series Vinland Saga. The song will be aired as the new opening theme from the Sunday, September 29 episode.

It is a very epic story of vengeance set in the medieval viking era; it is also a heroic tale that goes beyond revenge. Second track “86 Missed Calls feat. Patrick Stump” has been designated the theme song of movie 3 Nobunagas, which will hit theaters Friday, September 20. This track features Patrick Stump. At Summer Sonic Tokyo this past August 17, Patrick made a surprise appearance on MAN WITH A MISSION’s stage and together they premiered “86 Missed Calls feat. Patrick Stump” in front of the jam-packed audience, which created a huge buzz and set the momentum for this much anticipated release.
Third track “Reiwa feat. milet” marks the first song for MAN WITH A MISSION to collaborate with a female artist, namely milet, who is enjoying her heyday these days. The collaboration came to fruition after the band had been fascinated with milet’s crystal voice and made a passionate request to her.

When I first heard Milet’s voice, I knew that here was another artist who would personify and lead the new era. This time, upon making the new song “Reiwa”, somehow I had Milet’s voice overlapping the image of the song while composing the melody. So I talked about it with everyone and took the courage to ask her.
As soon as Milet’s voice was in the song, I felt that something like an enthusiasm of a new era was breathed into the song. I already look forward to the day that we perform together not only on audio but also on stage and deliver the song directly to you all!!

When I first heard “Reiwa”, my heart was swayed by the straightforward and tenderly enveloping voice and the epic and powerful sound that gave me an image of a bright and dazzling world opening up wide. I sang the song making the wish for peace and enjoying the happiness of living in the new era of Reiwa. And I am simply happy that I was able to blend into the sound of MAN WITH A MISSION, a band that have always been my big favorite. Please look forward to the fusion of MAN WITH A MISSION and milet.
Track #4 “My Hero [Slushii Remix]” is a remix by Slushii, a soon-to-breakthrough EDM DJ who is a Japanophile and an avid Japanese anime fan.
