Indonesian comics publisher m&c! has shipped the first volume of Mieruko-chan: The Girl That Sees manga to bookstores on 22 March 2023. The manga comes with a suggested retail price of IDR 48,000 (about US$ 3.01).
Written and illustrated by Tomoki Izumi, Mieruko-chan: The Girl That can Sees tells the story of Miko Yotsuya, a highschool girl who can see horrifying ghosts but act like she can’t because she doesn’t want to attract the attention of those ghosts. However, keeping her pokerface is never easy. The ghosts are getting scarier as time pass, and she is sometimes involved in a series of occurrence that has something to do with the ghost.
The manga is first serialized on Kadokawa’s webcomic website ComicWalker in November 2018. Later, Kadokawa Shouten publish the manga in tankoubon version, with the first volume released in April 2019. The manga has also been adapted into an anime series, with the animation produced by Passione.
m&c! is an Indonesian comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia group. Besides publishing manga, the publisher also publishes Disney comics, Hong Kong martial arts comics, and Indonesian comics under the Koloni imprint.
