The cinema chain CGV Cinemas announced the premiere date for the movie Haikyu!! THE DUMPSTER BATTLE. On their social media, CGV Cinemas stated that the film will be available in Indonesian cinemas starting from 29 May 2024.

Gekijoban Haikyuu!! Gomi Suteba no Kessen (Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle) is the first of two films to be released as part of the Haikyu!! Final series of films, serving as a conclusion to the anime series. It was released in Japan on 16 February 2024.
Haikyu!! is a comic series created by Haruichi Furudate, first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2012. Haikyu!! tells the story of a high school student named Shoyo Hinata who fell in love with volleyball, but his love for this sport was hampered by his height. Even though he is short, Hinata tries to pursue the sport he loves.
Haikyu!! has been adapted into an anime series and a number of stage plays. In Indonesia, Haikyuu!! has been published by m&c!. Additionally, a Haikyu!! themed trading card game has been released in Indonesia by Takara Tomy and Brain Navi Asia, with several tournaments held. The manga itself ended on July 20, 2020. The anime series has also aired on the Indonesian TV channel GTV.
