The Members’ Amazing Performance Entertained The Indonesian Fans

From start to finish, the performers delivered consistent, high-quality action on stage. They were expressive, full of energy, and deeply immersed in the songs, making the concert feel luxurious and alive. The audience was blown away by the concert’s atmosphere.

Two performances from this concert were Kiara’s Chimera, which energised the audience thanks to Kiara’s amazing dance moves, and Kobo’s Sebatas Video Call where the audience went wild, songs that were created for hololive’s collaboration project. In this concert, there were 3 cover songs: Fansa from Honeyworks which was performed by Watame and Azki, the legendary opening song of the Evangelion anime Cruel Angel Thesis which was performed by Ina, Bae, and Kiara, and Pretender from Official Hige Dandsism which was performed by Moona and Kobo.

Overall, the song performed in this concert was full of surprises. The MC sessions also brought plenty of charm and humour. During the Watame, AZKi, and Bae segment, they talked about Jakarta and tried to pronounce Indonesian words. Ina and Kiara chatted about iconic Indonesian dishes like mi bakso and nasi goreng, making the audience hungry. The most anticipated session, Moona and Kobo, had everyone laughing with their comedic antics before leading into even more lively performances.

On the other hand, the stage layout is significantly better compared to the previous concert. The light level on the stage is not too dim or too bright so the audience can see the performers clearly. In terms of the sound system, the concert organizers have improved. That the sound from the stage can be heard clearly without being too loud. Finally from the visual side, the VTubers can express themselves without any problem. Their expressive performance made the concert more alive and real. The only apparent problem during the concert was when Watame and Azki performed Fansa. The screen on Watame’s side looks damaged. However, the problem was quickly resolved without disrupting the performance.

Positive Fan Atmosphere

hololive STAGE World Tour’ 24 Soar! The concert would fully finish at 2010 WIT. However, it took a long time to get out of the concert venue. This was due to the long queue of visitors who wanted to take back their confiscated gadgets from the staff.

After a long wait, I was finally able to get out of the concert venue at 2035 WIT for the reasons above. Uniquely, the Crunchyroll bracelets, initially meant to be returned, could be kept as souvenirs. Both the staff and security guards on duty confirmed this.

For the concert itself, this was the best concert I have ever visited this year. In terms of the stage layout, the appearance and setlist of songs performed by the VTubers, to the security during the concert, all were positive in my opinion.

However, the most memorable thing about this concert came from the audience. Many fans from various ages and backgrounds were united in this concert which gave a sense of enthusiasm, love, solidarity, and togetherness, complementing the lively, colourful and diverse concert. Even the visitors who had never met each other in real life got to know the other fans better and even became friends after the event. The fans were also willing to help each other during the concert. When I was taking notes about the experience and setlist of songs at this concert, a fan helped by providing lighting. During the performances, the fans also never stop cheering, which creates the lively atmosphere of the concert.

The fun also continued after the concert. At Qi Lounge, Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, there was a post-concert event called Offkai, which lasted from 2100 WIT until late at night. It was a free event where fans sang, danced, enjoyed food, and made new connections. I was able to meet many new people and get a new perspective from them. A positive fan environment like this can create a comfortable fandom atmosphere that enhances the fan experience even more.

I felt very satisfied with the experience of watching a hololive concert in Indonesia. It feel like I was watching a concert in Japan, with a lively atmosphere and a positive vibe from the crowds. Hopefully, I can watch a hololive concert live in Japan one day.
