Previously, it was announced that the Indonesian game developer Pikselnesia is currently developing their latest game project Afterlove EP. The game was set to be released in summer 2022 with Australian game company Fellow Traveler as its publisher. However, the project was delayed after the game writer Mohammad Fahmi Hasni, better known as fahmitsu, passed away in March 2022.

After years of hiatus, Pikselnesia and Fellow Traveler finally announced the game’s new release date. Afterlove EP will be released on 14 February 2025 with the new trailer uploaded on the Fellow Traveler YouTube channel.

Afterlove EP is a game that blends rhythm, narrative-based adventure, and dating simulation. Players will take on the roles of Rama, a musician who recently lost his lover, Cinta. With the memories of Cinta in his mind, Rama chooses to travel around Jakarta in search of the meaning of his life while grieving over the loss of Cinta.

The players will be invited to explore a different, rarely seen part of Jakarta. The game features an emotional storyline with multiple endings based on Rama’s decisions along the way. Afterlove EP will also feature manga-inspired art illustrated by Soyatu and soundtracks composed by Jakarta-based rock band, L’Alphalpha.
