Togenashi Togeari, the band featured in the Girls Band Cry franchise, has announced a Southeast Asian concert tour scheduled for August 2026. The announcement was made through the official Girls Band Cry social media accounts on 14 June 2026.
The tour will feature three performances across Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. The tour schedule is as follows:
- 14 August 2026 – Ambience Space, Bangkok
- 16 August 2026 – Indonesia Convention Exhibition, Indonesia, as part of Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2026
- 19 August 2026 – Capitol Theatre, Singapore
Girls Band Cry is an original 2024 Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation as part of a major multimedia project that includes anime, manga, music, and mobile games. The story follows Nina Iseri, a girl who drops out of high school in her second year due to bullying. By chance, she meets Momoka Kawaragi, a street musician and former guitarist of Nina’s favourite indie band. Together, they form their own band Togenashi Togeari (literally translated as “Thornless Thorn”) as a means to escape their past trauma and to express their rebellious intent to the world.
