Dewan, an Indonesian voice actor who voiced James P. “Sulley” Sullivan in Monsters, Inc. Indonesian dub, had passed away on Tuesday (18 April) because of heart disease. He will be buried in his hometown, Jonggol.
Dewan, whose full name is Dewansyach Nasution, had voiced several characters in various Indonesian dubs of Disney animated films and anime, including Mufasa in The Lion King, Hank in Finding Dory, and the police officer in Tensai Bakabon. He was also casted in the Indonesian dub of several foreign live action drama including Korean drama Successful Story of a Bright Girl and Mexican Telenovela Amigos X Siempre.
