Film distributor ODEX announced on their Facebook page that they will bring Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple film to Indonesia. Other countries including Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines are also scheduled to receive the screening as well. There are no confirmed release date at the moment.
Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple revolves around a mysterious case in which power users commit suicide after a fog appears in their vicinity. The Armed Detective Agency decides to investigate Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, a power user who dubbed himself as “collector”, and a mysterious person involved in the whole incident, at the request of Ango Sakaguchi. Dead Apple is directed by Takuya Igarashi, and the character design is handled by Nobuhiro Arai. Both Kafka Asagiri and Yoji Enokido are going to handle the film’s script.
Bungo Stray Dogs is an on-going monthly manga series by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. Originally published in Young Ace Magazine, Bungo Stray Dogs tells the story of Atsushi Nakajima, a member of the Armed Detective Agency, a group of gifted detectives who solves numerous abnormal cases throughout the city.
