Previously, ODEX Indonesia has announced that Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel II. Lost Butterfly will receive a special fan screening in Indonesia. On Thursday (28/3), Indonesian film distributor CB International Movie has also announced the film regular release date. On their Facebook page, CB International stated that the film will start its regular release on 10 April 2019, at five Indonesian cinema chains including CGV, Cinemaxx, Platinum, Flix, and Lotte.
Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel II. Lost Butterfly is the second film of Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel film trilogy adaptation, continuing from the events in the first film Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel. I Presage Flower. It adapted one of the routes in the Fate/Stay Night visual novel by Type-Moon. The route, titled as Heavens Feel, tells the story of Sakura Matou, an ordinary girl with a gentle personality, who will soon get dragged into the horrors of the Holy Grail War, due to her dark past. The film directed by Tomonori Sudou and animated by studio Ufotable. The music is handled by Yuki Kajiura who previously worked on the soundtrack for Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works TV series. Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel II. Lost Butterfly originally released in Japan on 12 January 2019.

An animated adaptation of Fate/stay night directed by Yuji Yamaguchi at Studio DEEN aired as a TV anime series in 2006. Later, Yamaguchi also directed an adaptation for the visual novel’s Unlimited Blade Works route at Studio DEEN released in 2010. Another adaptation of the Unlimited Blade Works route from Ufotable aired in 2014 and 2015, with Takahiro Miura directing. Ufotable also produced the anime adaptation of Fate/Zero spin-off novel series.
