Film distributor ODEX Indonesia has posted the trailer for Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel – Lost Butterfly film on their Facebook page. The release date for Southeast Asia is still unknown, although ODEX has stated that the movie will be released in 2019.

Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel – Lost Butterfly is the second film of the Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel film trilogy adaptation, continuing from the events in the first film, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel – Presage Flower. Produced at studio Ufotable, the films are directed by Tomonori Sudou with Takahiro Miura credited for storyboards. Yuki Kajiura, who previously worked on the soundtrack for Fate/Zero and was a guest composer for  Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works; is composing the music for the films. The casts from the previous Fate/stay night anime adaptations are reprising their roles, including Noriaki Sugiyama as Shirou Emiya, Noriko Shitaya as Sakura Matou, Hiroshi Kamiya as Shinji Matou, and Kana Ueda as Rin Tohsaka. In Japan, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel – Lost Butterfly is scheduled to release on the 12th of January, 2019. The first film was released in Japan on 14th of October 2017 and in Indonesia on 17th of January 2018.

Heaven’s Feel is one of the routes in the Fate/stay night visual novel by Type-Moon released in 2004. The route tells the story of Sakura Matou, an ordinary girl with a gentle personality, who will soon get dragged into the horrors of the Holy Grail War, due to her dark past. An animated adaptation of Fate/stay night directed by Yuji Yamaguchi at Studio DEEN aired as a TV anime series in 2006. Later, Yamaguchi also directed an adaptation for the visual novel’s Unlimited Blade Works route at Studio DEEN released in 2010. Another adaptation of the Unlimited Blade Works route from Ufotable aired in 2014 and 2015, with Takahiro Miura directing. Ufotable also produced the anime adaptation of Fate/Zero spin-off novel series.
