On Monday (07/10), Editor Komik Elex-Level Comics’s twitter account has teased the next manga which will be licensed by Elex Media Komputindo. The post shows the covers from several volumes of Bakemonogatari manga. The release date, format and, price for the manga has not been announced yet.

Bakemonogatari is the manga adaptation of the light novel with same name. The manga is drawn by Oh! Great, based on the original story by NisiOisin and original character design by Vofan.

The story of Bakemonogatari centered on Koyomi Araragi, a high school student who was transformed into a vampire because of an incident. Thanks to a supranatural specialist named Meme Oshino, he is able to remain human. One day, his classmate named Hitagi Senjougahara accidentally falls into his arms. Koyomi discovers that Hitagi doesn’t have any weight. Koyomi, with help from Meme, offered to solve Hitagi’s problem which was caused by an oddity. After Hitagi’s case, Koyomi started to meet other girls who are troubled by some manner of supernatural being.

The manga is serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine which is published by Kodansha. The manga has been serialized since March 2018 and has been collected into 6 tankoubon volumes.

Elex Media Komputindo is a publishing unit under the Kompas-Gramedia Group. The publisher releases licensed foreign comics, including manga, and also Indonesian comics.
