Everybody around her told her to quit because of her height, but she won’t give up. One day, she met one of her classmates, a poor student named Ikuto Tsumura who wanted to become a fashion designer. The two decide to combine their dreams and overcome all hurdles. Runway de Waratte is first serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine in 2017 from publisher Kodansha, and as of September 2019 has been collected into 12 tankoubon volumes. The manga has also inspired a television anime adaptation that will premiere in January 2020 with the casts Yumiri Hanamori as Chiyuki Fujito and Natsuki Hanae as Ikuto Tsumura.
