Written and drawn by Kotoba Inoya, Runway de Waratte tells the story of Chiyuki Fujito, a highschool girl who has dreamed to become a model. Unfortunately, she has a short stature. Everybody around her told her to quit because of her height, but she won’t give up. One day, she met one of her classmates, a poor student named Ikuto Tsumura who wanted to become a fashion designer. The two decide to combine their dreams and overcome all hurdles. Runway de Waratte is first serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine in 2017 from publisher Kodansha, and as of September 2019 has been collected into 12 tankoubon volumes. The manga has also inspired a television anime adaptation that will premiere in January 2020 with the casts Yumiri Hanamori as Chiyuki Fujito and Natsuki Hanae as Ikuto Tsumura.
Written and drawn by Rei Wataru, Fate/Grand Order: Epic of Remnant – Eirei Kengou Nanaban Shoubu follows the story of Ritsuka Fujimaru. After losing consciousness, he woke up in Japan’s Edo period. Then he met Miyamoto Musashi, the female swordsman he met once in a dream. The manga adapts part of the “Epic of Remnant” story from the mobile game and the manga series launched on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app.
Written and drawn by Akane Shimizu, Cells at Work! (Japanese title: Hataraku Saibou) tells the story of various types of cells, enzymes, and immune systems in the human body. Among the trillions of cells, there lived a Red Blood Cell who is charged with delivering oxygen and nutrients to all body tissues and cells. In the middle of work, she met a White Blood Cell who dispelled the bacteria that managed to break into the body. The White Blood Cell then helped the Red Blood Cell who is still confused with her task. The manga is first serialized in Monthly Shounen Sirius Magazine published by Kodansha, and has been collected into five tankoubon volumes. The manga has also inspired a television anime adaptation which aired on summer 2018, animated by David Production.
m&c! is a comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia group. Other than publishing manga, the publisher also publishes Disney comics magazines, and books, Hong Kong martial arts comics, as well as Indonesian comics under the Koloni label.
