Indonesian game developer Gamecom Team announced that their upcoming game Parakacuk will be rebranded to Troublemaker. According to Gamecom Team, the decision to change the name was taken because they found that Parakacuk is harder to pronounce by non-Indonesian players.

Two weeks after the name change, Gamecom Team also announced the release of Troublemaker‘s new demo. The Demo is available on its Steam page.

Troublemaker is a beat-’em-up game that focuses on the fight between students. The player will take control of Budi, a new transfer student at Cipta Wiyata Vocational School. Later, Budi realizes that Cipta Wiyata is no regular vocational school. Each year, students from every class compete in an all-out fighting tournament called Raise Your Gang.

The game is first announced in December 2020. When it was first announced, the game got positive responses, with more than 5000 Steam wishlists within a week since its first announcement. In June 2022, Gamecom Team also announced that the game will be published by Freedom Games.

The Steam page also mentions that the game will include mature content, such as teenage violence, strong language, drugs, and suicide.

Based in Jakarta, Troublemaker is the third game developed by Gamecom Team after A Day Without Me and Babol: The Box Adventure. Previously, A Day Without Me has been nominated as Indonesia’s most favorite game in the 2020 Indonesia Gaming Award. For Troublemaker, fans can also support the development by donating to Gamecom Team on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.
