After holding several pre-events, namely PesKom Bandung x Ragasukma and PesKom x Sweta Kartika Day, Pesta Komik Bandung finally happened! Held on the weekend of 3-4 June 2023 at Istana BEC, Bandung, PesKom Bandung shown the excitement of local, and primarily indie, creators’ party.

Pesta Komik Bandung had 42 creator booths, and the event was crowded on both days. Other than the booths, PesKom Bandung also had a stage with different panels and interactive games as their sub-events. Our staff had managed to snatch a glimpse of the event.

In PesKom Bandung, comics were not solely the only thing being sold. Other than merchandise such as stickers, posters, and postcards, some of the booths also had aromatic candles, plushies, wayang (shadow puppet), figures, and even a backdrop to take photos with their comic character.

The staff found out that PesKom Bandung was also a good event for some creators to release their latest works. It made for good publicity, and the real samples leave a strong impression on the visitors.
