To celebrate Jakarta’s 497th Anniversary, the provincial government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta will set a special price for public transportation users in Jakarta.
On 22 and 23 June 2024, from 00.00-23.59 Western Indonesian Times (WIT), people who want to use the Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT will be charged only 1 rupiah. Other public transportation services such as MikroTrans, which have been charged 0 rupiah from the start, will remain free.
One of the LRT stations, Pulomas station, will also host a Japanese pop culture event Anidrome. The event will be held on 23 June 2024. Any public transport users can use Transjakarta Corridor 2 from Monas and get off at the Pulomas stop for only 1 rupiah.
