Previously, the indie video game developer Mushroomallow officially launched the Steam Page for their latest project Death & Faeology. On Tuesday (18/2), the developer has also released the game demo for a limited time on their Steam page.

The demo is available from 18 to 25 February 2025 as a part of Steam Storyteller’s Festival. Here are some of the game features included in the demo:

- 5 different endings: 3 good endings, and 2 bad endings
- 2 epilogues
- Approximately 20k words to make you think and keep you entertained for around 2 hours
Set in 1920s New York, Death & Faeology tell the story of a “faelogist”, a specialist in faerie mythology. In the game, the player has to uncover the truth behind a series of unusual murders that are happening in the upper echelon of New York Society.
Drawing inspiration from acclaimed titles such as Strange Horticulture and the Ace Attorney series, the game combines a murder mystery game with mythological stories. The game also offers romance options and a story with multiple endings.

They’re known as the developer of EDDA Cafe, a slice-of-life romance visual novel that won various awards, including 2021 Gamescom Asia’s Asia Game Awards for Jury’s Honorable Mentions category and 2021 Game Developer Championship for the Fan Favorite category.
