After his visit in Battle of Toys 2016 event, Tetsuo Kurata, who played main character Kotaro Minami in Kamen Rider Black and Kamen Rider Black RX, will visit Indonesia once again. This time, he is listed as guest star in Bandung Comic Showdown event. This event will be held on October 29 and 30, 2016, at Landmark Hall Braga, Bandung.

Tetsuo Kurata first played the eponymous character of the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Black in 1987 He continued the role in the sequel series, Kamen Rider Black RX in 1989. Kamen Rider Black RX had been adapted for American television by Saban Entertainment as Masked Rider in 1995. In Indonesia, Kamen Rider Black and Black RX had been aired under the title of Satria Baja Hitam (Black Armoured Knight) and Satria Baja Hitam RX on RCTI in 1992 and on Indosiar in 2004. In Indonesia, Kotaro Minami’s voice had been redubbed in Indonesian by voice actors Adang Sudarto (1992), Tri Adi Setiawan (2004), and Bonar (2013).

Tetsuo Kurata had reprised his role as Kotaro Minami in the Kamen Rider Decade TV show and the crossover movie Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders VS Dai Shocker. The movie had also been aired on Indosiar on May 19, 2013. Last year, in 2015, Tetsuo Kurata had also played in the tokusatsu series Satria BIMA X as Satria Naga Ko, where he has spoken lines in Indonesian.
