Other than MadFest Q&A Panel, KAORI also got a special interview with Sora Tokui herself! In this interview Sora Tokui told about herself aside from her role as Nico Yazawa in Love Live! School Idol Project.
Okay. So, you are a multi talented voice actress. You can also dance and sing. So which one do you prefer most? singing, voice acting or dancing? And why?
I think out of everything that I do, I love doing the voices of anime characters, the most. And the reason is because when I do their voice I can fully become the character and really immerse myself and i really enjoy that.
I heard from my friend that you also draw manga in your spare time. Do you still draw manga?
Yes that’s correct. I did draw four panel manga in Gekkan Bushiroad (Bushiroad Monthly). It comes out once a month and it has continue for three years and it’s still ongoing. There is a lot of English translation of manga around the world, so I hope one day, someone would also translate my work, so everybody in the world can read the manga I drew.
Onto our next question, do you have any inspiration in your voice acting career?
I really like the Evangelion anime and the voice actress Yuuko Miyamura who voiced the character Asuka Langley Soryuu. I am very inspired by her.
Across your career as a voice actress, which is the hardest character that you ever played?
So there is an anime called Future Card Buddyfight, and in that series i played as Paruko Nanana. The story includes a lot of cards, and all the cards have a lot of difficult names, so it was pretty hard to voice that one.
You also voiced characters in card game-based anime many times, like Buddyfight, Vanguard, and so on. Do you also play the card games?
Yes. I played the game Weiss Schwarz and I enjoyed them a lot. Milky Holmes also becomes a card game and i play it too. It’s also a lot of fun.
Onto the final question, do you have any upcoming projects after this and can you tell us about it a little bit?
Yes, I have a job coming up, which is an event called Sora’s NIght and it’s a nighttime show. For that show, i will sing some songs and this will be my solo event.
