Synopsis
There is a handsome student who is good at playing soccer named Aoyama, a member of the U-16 Japan national team. However, Aoyama is a cleanliness freak, so when he’s playing soccer he won’t tackle the opponent and never touch the ball even while doing a throw in, as he would wear gloves.
Comments
When I began to watch this anime, I thought the content would be similar to Sakamoto desu ga?, but made more monotonous focusing only on the crazy behaviour of the main character. However, I was wrong, as Keppeki Danshi Aoyama-kun presents a sports-themed comedy anime made with serious efforts, as can be seen from the quality of the drawings, the traits of each characters, and the comedy scenes that are not too excessive. Not only that, female viewers may get some “service” through the handsome male characters who dominate the show (even though there are also some ugly ones). This anime is a worthy watch if you want to see a light comedy anime with a touch of sports and some good-looking guy.
