On Sunday (16/7), the official Facebook page of ODEX Private Limited teased that it will be responsible in distributing the feature film Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya: Sekka no Chikai to South East Asian countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. In Japan, the film will be screened starting on 26 August 2017. The post mentions that there will be a fan screening and general release for the flm, though the exact premiere date in Indonesia has yet to be announced.
Gekijouban Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya: Sekka no Chikai adapts the remaining part of the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!! manga which have not been adapted into anime. The film sets in the time where the world is heading towards its destruction and the only way to stop it is sacrificing Miyu as a medium for the Holy Grail. Once, Ainsworth asked Illya who is called as the savior, whether she would save the world or Miyu, and Illya answered “both”. Recently, even Shirou mentioned that Miyu is a descendant of God who will grant any wishes, so that she was adopted by him, and now they have been living like a true brother and sister for 5 years. But now, the peaceful time has elapsed and they will take it back. But before that, Julian Ainsworth suddenly appeared, looking for Miyu whom he need. ChouCho, who previously performed the opening theme for Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya TV series, “starlog” and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!! opening theme, “Asterism“, will return to perform her new song, “kaleidoscope”. It will be the 16th single for the artist herself.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya series is a spin-off manga from the Fate/stay night series. It was written and drawn by Hiroshi Hiroyama and began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine from September 2007. A sequel series titled Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei! was serialized from 2009 to 2012. A third manga series titled Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!! began serialization in 2012 and is currently ongoing. The anime adaptation has aired 4 seasons, with the first season covered the first manga in 2013, the second and third covered the second manga, 2wei!, in 2014 and 2015 respectively, and the fourth covered the half of the third manga, 3rei!!, in 2016. The upcoming film will act as the sequel for the fourth season.
