Synopsis

A month has passed since she enrolled in Sakaneko High School, but Minoa Asagaya still can’t decide which club she will join. In some confusion and misunderstanding, she ended up having to help her classmate to revive the defunct Anime Club and solve the mistery of the sealed berret and a cat that… can talk!

Shofa Husaeni Pranata (KAORI Newsline)

A series that tells about a school club or organisation and its members is actually a mainstream concept in manga and anime. What make these series can be distinguished from each other, though, is how they deliver it for different segments of the audience. Animegataris already shows that this show will surely use a lot of cheesy jokes and characters with established tropes (like the ojou-sama or chuunibiyou) as their selling points. The key difference is in how the characters keep using such jokes freely that make us wonder whether they actually realize that they are characters in an anime. Watching this show indeed, can make us remember why we become a manga or anime fans.
