The latest film of Pokémon franchise, Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, will be shown in Indonesia starting from 29 November 2017. This announcement is made on Thursday (16/11) in Monsta official youtube channel. In the channel, Monsta released a trailer of Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! with Indonesia subtitle, titled as Pokémon the Movie: Aku Memilihmu!. The trailer also announced that the film will be available at three cinema chains, CGV Cinemas Indonesia, Cinemaxx, and Flix Cinema.
Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! (Japanese title: Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Kimi ni Kimeta!) is the 20th Pokémon film released to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary. The film is loosely based on the original 1997 Pokémon anime story, retelling Satoshi (Ash Ketchum in English version) and Pikachu’s early journey. The film is Directed by Kumihimo Yuyama and the Scenario is written by Satoshi Tajiri.
