On Wednesday (10/7) the official Facebook account of Indonesian comic book publisher m&c! has posted the cover images of City Hunter and Fist of The North Star manga. Both are listed as the manga that will be released under m&c!’s “Akasha” mature comic label. There is no further information yet about the release dates, format and price of the manga.

Created by Tsukasa Hojo, City Hunter was originally serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine in 1985 and ended with 35 volumes in 1991. It tells the story of a detective named Ryo Saeba. With his ability, he operated the “City Hunter” agency to protect clients as a bodyguard. The story also follows the romance between Ryo and Kaori, and the way they cooperate throughout each mission.

City Hunter has been adapted into four anime seasons, one anime movie, some OVAs and live action adaptation. Further, a new anime City Hunter Movie: Shinjuku Private Eyes will be released in Indonesian theatres soon.

Fist of The North Star (Hokuto no Ken) is an action manga, set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been destroyed by nuclear war. The story follows to Kenshiro, a warrior who is also the successor of a deadly martial art known as Hakuto Shinken.

Written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, Fist of The North Star manga was serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump between 1983 to 1988 and has been collected into 27 volumes. Since February 2010, Elex Media has published the prequel of this manga, Fist of The Blue Sky.
