On October 21, Indonesian comic book publisher m&c! has revealed through their official Facebook account that City Hunter -Rebirth- and Fist of The North Star are to be released in Indonesia. m&c! posted pictures the covers of City Hunter -Rebirth- and Fist of The North Star with the caption “Are you ready for these?!” Detailed information about the specific release date, format and price of the manga has yet to be revealed, but the pictures confirmed that the two series will be released under m&c!’s Akasha mature comics label.
Written by Tsukasa Hojo and drawn by Nishiki Sokura, City Hunter -Rebirth- (Kyou Kara City hunter) tells the story of a 40-year-old unmarried woman who has been a big fan of City Hunter‘s Ryou Saeba since high school. One day she was hit by a train and she found herself awaken in the world of City Hunter. First serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon Magazine on July 25, 2017, it has has been collected into four volumes.
Fist of The North Star (Hokuto no Ken) is an action manga set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been destroyed by nuclear war. The story follows to Kenshiro, a warrior who is also the successor of a deadly martial art known as Hakuto Shinken. Written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, Fist of The North Star was serialized inWeekly Shounen Jump between 1983 to 1988 and has been collected into 27 volumes. Since February 2010, Elex Media has published the prequel of this manga, Fist of The Blue Sky.
