Previously, it was announced that Fate/Apocrypha manga adaptation will be released in Indonesia under the m&c! publisher’s mature-rated label Akasha. On Monday (7/3), the first volume of the manga is listed to be available in Indonesian bookstores on March 9, 2022. According to Gramedia.com, the manga retails for IDR 45000 (about USD 3.12).
The Fate/Apocrypha is Akira Ishida‘s manga adaptation of the light novel by Yuichiro Higashide. The story takes place in an alternate timeline to Fate/stay night, where the Holy Grail was stolen from Fuyuki city by Darnic Prestone Yggdmillennia in the Third Holy Grail War. Sixty years later, the Yggdmillennia clan declares their seccesion from the Mage’s Association, starting a Great Holy Grail War between two teams with seven heroic spirit Servants each: the Black Faction of the Yggdmillennia clan and the Red faction of the Mage’s Association seeking to recover the Grail. Meanwhile, the Grail itself also summons a Ruler class Servant to act as a mediator in the War.
The novel series was published between 2012 to 2014 and ended with five volumes, while the manga adaptation has been ongoing since 2016 in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace. An anime adaptation by ColverWorks has also aired from summer to fall 2017.
m&c! is an Indonesian comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia group. Other than publishing manga, the publisher also publishes Disney comics magazines, and books, Hong Kong martial arts comics, as well as Indonesian comics under the Koloni imprint. The publisher also has the Akasha imprint for mature comics and the Clover imprint for domestic and translated novels.
