Film distributor Feat Pictures has confirmed through their social media that the tokusatsu film Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer will be released in Indonesia. In one post, the distributor has revealed that the general screening of the film will begin in Indonesian tbeatres from October 30, 2019. The cinema chains Cinemaxx and CGV will screen the film.

Furthermore, the distributor has also revealed plans for limited special screening of the film with exclusive merchandise. The special screening is to be held at the Cinemaxx theatre of Istana Plaza in Bandung and CGV theatre of fX Sudirman in Jakarta. Details about the date, ticket price, as well as the merchandise for the special screening has yet to be announced.

Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer is the summer film of the 20th and final Kamen Rider series of the Heisei era, Kamen Rider Zi-O. The series centers on Sougo Tokiwa (played by Sou Okuno), a young man who 50 years in the future would become the tyrant demon king of time, Oma Zi-O, who rule the world with the powers of all past Kamen Riders. A group of time travelers from that future come to the present day to prevent Sougo from becoming Oma Zi-O, while another group of time travelers called Time Jackers also seek to change history by stealing he powers of past Riders to create their own puppet demon king. Sougo becomes Kamen Rider Zi-O and tries to stop the Time Jackers’ plot, meeting past Riders and getting their powers while intending to avoid the bad future of Oma Zi-O.
In Over Quartzer, Sougo and his companions confront a mysterious group of time travelers called Quartzer, which aims to erase the history of Kamen Rider Drive by killing the ancestor of Krim Steinbelt, who created Drive’s Rider System. Sougo and co. go to the Warring States period to prevent Quartzer’s plan. The confrontation will also reveal the truth about the origin of Oma Zi-O.
Other than the main casts of Kamen Rider Zi-O, the film also sees Yu Inaba and Chris Peppler reprise their respective roles from Kamen Rider Drive as Go Shijima/Kamen Rider Mach and Krim Steinbelt. ISSA, a member of DA Pump and one of the singers of Zi-O‘s theme song “Over Quartzer” (after which the film is named), stars as the Leader of Quartzer. DA Pump themselves also perform the theme song for this film, P.A.R.T.Y.
Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer debuted in Japan on July 26, 2019 as a double feature with Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger The Movie: Time Slip! Dinosaur Panic. Previously, Feat Pictures have also distributed the annual crossover film Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER in Indonesia.
