On Thursday (23/1), the official Facebook account of Indonesian comics publisher m&c! has posted a sneak preview of the first volume of Fate/Grand Order –mortalis:stella– manga. In addition to samples of the cover and the first seven pages, the post also mentions that the first volume is scheduled to be released on January 29, 2020.

Fate/Grand Order mortalis:stella is one of the manga adaptions of the smartphone game Fate/Grand Order from TYPE-MOON and Aniplex. Written and illustrated by Shiramine, the manga is serialized in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum since July 2017. m&c!’s preview post describes the story as follows:

A girl and a young man’s Holy Grail War begins!

Mash Kyrielight of the Organization for the Preservation of Human Order, Chaldea, joins a mission to protect the history of mankind. On that day, she also encounters a sleeping young man named Ritsuka Fujimaru..?

Previously, m&c! has also published Takeshi Kawaguchi’s Fate/Grand Order –turas realta–, which is published in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. One month after the first volume was released, m&c! has given the first volume a second print run.

The game Fate/Grand Order tells about the Heroic Spirit servants and their master who summoned them to fight in a war called the Holy Grail War to restore the future. To prevent the extinction of humanity, the organization “Chaldea” sent some of its members to the Japanese city of Fuyuki in 2004, a place that allegedly caused the extinction of mankind.

m&c! is a comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia group. Other than publishing manga, the publisher also publishes Disney comics magazines, and books, Hong kong martial arts comics, as well as Indonesian comics under the Koloni label.
