After taking a hiatus from Indonesia in 2019, Anime Festival Asia will be held again in Indonesia in 2020. The announcement was made through AFA – Anime Festival Asia‘s social media accounts. Details abaout venue, date, line-up artist, and the ticket price of the event have yet to be revealed.
Anime Festival Asia, or abbreviated as C3 AFA Jakarta (previously known as AFA Indonesia) is one of the major Japanese pop culture events in Indonesia. Not only presenting popular anime series and merchandises, since the inaugural event in Indonesia in 2012, the event has also presents anisong concerts by the artists from Japan.
