In addition to interviews with the event visitors, the KAORI Nusantara team also got a rare opportunity to interview the event staff. They are Rifqi and Izzhar, who also happened to be the founders of Project:LIVIUM.

In this event, Izzhar’s role was leading the team that did the planning and research. planning the event and researching the requirements. Before the event, Izzhar explained that his team first looked for suitable cosplayer talents as maids, determined a viable location for the event, and selected five Livium talents who were willing to participate in the event.

On the other hand, Rifqi led the team that was tasked with decoration. They decorated the event area, put up banners in front of the restaurant, and took care of event merchandise. Additionally, his team also conducted a briefing for the event staff, cosplayer talents, and project: LIVIUM’s VTubers to ensure the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

The idea for the event first came from Irfan. He wanted to experiment with the concept of a maid cafe and combine it with the VTuber. In addition to working with the Project: LIVIUM team, Irfan also helped the organizers to develop the concept into a new and fresh maid cafe event.

One day before the official event, the team carried out several crucial tasks, such as checking the merchandise to ensure quality, verifying visitor re-registration according to the registration form, and assisting with decoration. The preparations were completed just in time thanks to the many volunteers who participated.

As for the maid cafe event rundown, each session lasted one hour and was divided into two parts of 30 minutes each. The first part included playing minigames, singing karaoke together, taking photos, and making special requests to the maids. The second part was a dining and conversation session with the maids. An additional 20 minutes was provided for those who ordered the VIP session, where visitors could chat with Livium talents via the Discord platform.

The event ran smoothly with great excitement. As this was the first time Project:LIVIUM organised a maid cafe event, it became their source of pride. Visitors’ enthusiasm also contributed to the event’s overall success. However, there was a minor technical issue caused by an unstable internet connection. The organisers hope that future events will be bigger, with more VTubers participating, greater media coverage, more sponsors, and stronger support from the community, especially since community support is what has made Project:LIVIUM what it is today.

For future events, Project:LIVIUM aim to create both offline and online, each with a unique concept. They will also host various annual events, such as events during Ramadan and Indonesia’s Independence Day on 17 August. These plans are made possible by strong community support, allowing the agency to continue providing extraordinary experiences and surprises at every event.
