Okusama ga Seitokaichō! +!

The continuation of the first season. Hayato Izumi is a Vice-President of the Student Council of a highschool. One evening, Wakana Ui – the President of Student Council – appears in Izumi’s house and tells him that their parents matched them as fiancee. Then, Izumi now lives with his “wife”, Ui.

What’s worse than a hentai? a borderline sexual show that is not a hentai. Okusama ga Seitoukaichou is a really good example. Ui is a girl with a great body figure and a really good wife, in my opinion. However, Izumi is a guy that “tries-too-hard-to-keep-his-sanity-but-eventually-it-goes-down” As a good wife, Ui always tries hard to please her husband (especially the skinship part). But, the worst part it, every time things are going down between them. the plot demands to not let those things happen. As the prekuel, this show comes in two versions: Safe for Work version and “NSFW” Version. Without further ado, you know which version you have to watch. Shakunetsu no Takkyū Musume

Agari Kamiya was an ace in Suzume Gagen Middle School’s Table Tennis Club. She was really famous, whether by her junior in club or by school journalists. One day, she met a shy transfer student named Koyori Tsumujikaze at the front of school’s gate, and after being helped, they went together to Table Tennis Club’s room after hearing that Tsumujikaze also love table tennis. Unexpectedly, Tsumujikaze’s ability at table tennis was made all club members speechless, while on the other side, Kamiya started to worry about her position as club’s ace.

Cute girls doing cute things, maybe this is the main part that is offered by this anime. Although it uses sports theme, the plot runs at a relaxed pace, added with some funny scenes by the characters. But, the serious part of competiting that is common in many sports anime is still there, and I think this is still the main focus of this anime. Aside from those cute faces of the characters, this anime is still worthy to be called a sport anime that is full of competition spirits. (M Razif Dwi Kurniawan – The Indonesian Anime Times)

Show By Rock!!#

Sequel of Show by Rock!! Cyan Hijirikawa is a normal highschool student. She has Mad Skills on playing guitar. However, she is a very shy girl. One day, when she played a rhythm game, somehow, she ends up in MIDI City and get scouted by a producer to play in a band. The band is Plasmagica. With three other girls in Plasmagica, Cyan will make her dream become a superstar come true while protecting MIDI City from darkness within.

Based on a rhythm game by Geechs Inc, Show By Rock!! is coming to the Fall anime lineup for the second season. Before “The Isekai Problem” Blowup, Here was an Isekai show by BONES which doesn’t really pops up above the radar. I also did the commentary on the previous cour and this anime is very enjoyable, especially the music part. For you lot that watch the first season, the first episode might have a “rinse and repeat” feeling from the first season. But hey, this is BONES, what could go wrong? (Naufalbepe – KAORI Newsline)

Shuumatsu no Izetta

1940: war is ravaging Europe. Under the shadows of Germanian invasion, Princess Fine of of the Duchy of Eylstadt conduct a secret mission to seek help from the allies in opposing Germania. Pursued by Germanian agents, the princess crossed path with a supposedly legendary witch whom she had been quite familiar with in the past.

Opened with a train chase sequence, the first episode of this series establishes Princess Fine’s character and her circumstances through her secret diplomatic mission. The war drama is conveyed not only through detailed depictions of military technology (mainly via 3D CG), but also through narrative of service and sacrifice for the people. The legend of the White Witch and Fine’s past with Izetta has only been presented in glimpses, and Izetta hasn’t shown much of her magical prowess, notably at the climax. Soul Buster

Soushin was an ordinary high-schooler who suddenly lost his consciousness during the history class. He had some strange dream about ancient emperor and some other mystical things. After he woke up, he encountered that strange dream once more. In his strange dream, he met with some mysterious beings who gave him a card. He was being told that he should protect that card with all costs, including his life. That card would show Soushin to his fate.

Soul Buster is an anime which brings the Romance of The Three Kingdom lore in a modern setting in 13 minutes short duration. Just wonder what if the Holy Grail War in Fate series presents the Romance of The Three Kingdom lore and heroic spirits to its battle, that is Soul Busters. The tense, horrifying, dark, and mysterious vibe are presented with some blood and stain effect in the visual. For you who likes action and dark themed anime, Soul Buster may be some alternatives for your watchlist in this season. (Rafly Nugroho – KAORI Newsline)
